Pastels, Bodices, Brocade Print; everything Baroque. Be the queen of your bureau this Spring, and study back to the late 17th century royal era, for opulent inspiration and ornamental details of one of this seasons most popular, unique trends.
For the editorial of the May/June issue of MANIAC, my inspiration came from one of my most favorite trends of this season, Pastel Baroque. We shot on my rooftop in Lower East Side, which provided the perfect grungy-urban backdrop, to balance out the glamorous looks fit for a modern queen. We shot the beautiful Elena Kuletskaya of FORD Models, with Hair by Nicole Blais, and Makeup by Roberto Casey. Photography by Editor-in-Chief, April Hubal.

May Issue, Spring Campaign, Styled by me
"Strutting Into Summer With a Pep in her Step" is the spring campaign I recently styled for FIT's W27 Newspaper, May Issue. My vision for this campaign was a fresh and glamorous fashionista ready for an urban summer in New York City's concrete jungle. I pulled most of the pieces from POLECI, via Facorty PR Showroom. We shot this around my neighborhood in Lower East Side, and man, did it have our mouths watering for summer!
We all know about the scorching heat this city has to bring, among one of our most cherished seasons. This summer, instead of surrendering to the typical one-piece dresses or rompers, opt for more exciting, individual pieces, such as sequin shorts, bright and billowy blouses, stilettos colored of head-turning hues, and sweatpant chinos paired with your favortie metallic jacket for those night time-windy rooftop parties. Whatever time of day, strut into summer with not only a pep in your step, but a pop of color in your ensemble!
A special thank you to Jake Hammel of Factory PR, W27 Newspaper, POLECI, Assistant Fred Rodriguez, Makeup Artist Katherine Reel, Model Kelly Gibson and Photographer Kevin Buitrago!
