ALVIN VALLEY 5 days a week: WEDNESDAY #BlockParty

The Bailey trouser and Color-Block blouse c/o Alvin Valley // Mac Bag by Michael Kors

Nothing screams power look more than color blocking. Its the perfect weather to showcase your moody teals, blue and greens, and Alvin Valley has the ideal pieces for your middle-of-the week work day. When color blocking, it is a no-brainer to stay in the same color palette family, with different shades and values of the same hue. Add a pop of color such as this bright orange (Mac bag) to keep the look eye-catching and vibrant!

Black Magic

A. OK via OAK genuine leather hat // ZARA lace dress // BCBG silk maxi skirt // VINCE CAMUTO cuff // CONVERSE leather high tops // MICHAEL KORS bag // vintage fur //

What happens when you tuck a lace dress into a silk max-skirt? You create a masterpiece, and a wonderful, effortless outfit. My new obsession, my genuine leather baseball cap from OAK, has been challenging me to create super eclectic, athletic outfit creations.

For this look, I chose to keep it sporty by wearing my white leather Converse high-tops, instead of the oh so typical black winter boots. Makin' magic is one of my favorite hobbies.

Rooftop Reptile

Collar necklace c/o LAB by Laura Busony// Modern Vice boots via OAK NYC // INC denim // Macy's tweed jacket // BCBGeneration top // Ray Ban sunglasses // Michael Kors laptop bag

Sometimes I like treating my Lower East Side rooftop as if it were my backyard.. Where else is one suppose to explore as an escape from their standard-sized apartment?

Make like a reptile and slither through the city where-ever your textured/pattern denim may take you. Whether you're a Blogger-on-the-go, a Lawyer-off-duty, or a Superstar-in-the-making, choose a Michael Kors laptop bag (made for Macs) to get any job started, and finished successfully while on the run!

The Forecast: BATTER UP!! Downtown Ball

A. OK via OAK NYC genuine leather baseball cap // Michael Kors bag // ZARA mens boots // INC denim and puff jacket // H&M Sweater // Brooklyn Charm necklace

BATTERRRRR UUUPPP!!
Its that season again (fashion season, of course). Time to take those baseball caps to the fields... (I mean, streets). In the midst of New York Fashion Week, I am incredibly anxious to see who has the guts and athleticism to add these head toppers to any outfit!

Our fathers and older brothers would be proud to see their old caps that have been collecting dust, brought out into the world again. Whether you're supporting your favorite baseball team, or have purchased a brand new leather ball cap property of 2013, Fashion Editors to supermodels Cara Delevingne and Dree Hemingway, and the music scene's most recent muse, Grimes, are sure not afraid to show their team spirit.

Christmas Tree-Huggers

Free People leather Jacket // Vintage Blouse and Belt // RAMPAGE sequin shorts // Cole Haan Boots // Juicy Couture Gloves // Chris Habana Bracelet // Michael Kors orange laptop bag // H&M gold satchel // Rayban sunglasses

T'is the season to get FESTIVE! And hug pine trees... Oh how I miss my PA fields.. Seek out your favorite vintage holiday blouses tucked inside the depths of your hometown closet. Pair sparkle shorts with shiny baroque tops, and always add (faux) fur.

For this dollop of holiday cheer, I shot with Photographer and Dj, Leslie Kirchoff, of Le Fur Coat. Leslie and I worked together on a shoot a while back, and had no problem rekindling over some holiday cheer! We found the perfect sidewalk of trees just outside of Soho.

I have also had the pleasure of kicking off the season by meeting some great new people over eggnog. Above in my Christmas Tree-Huggers photos, I am sporting my newly purchased bracelet by jewelry designer, ChrisHabana.  I love pulling Chris's accessories to style, like I did so on Nikki Reed, so it was such a pleasure and great experience to meet the man behind all of the beautiful, bad-ass pieces! I attended his jewelry-sale eggnog party at his home downtown.

In the midst of my Fabric Styling finals madness, I am focusing my spirits on all of my exciting holiday festivities quickly approaching. I have a few outings with friends planned, as well as a beautiful vacation over New Years, to Yacht Week in the British Virgin Islands.

Things I am looking forward to This Holiday Season!
1) My best friend's Holiday Dinner Party
2) Yacht Week Brunch
3) 5th Ave Lights and Plaza Hotel
4) SantaCon
