The Hanley Skinny c/o Alvin Valley // 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag

Casual Friday is everyones favorite day. There is nothing like slipping into a comfortable pair of pants after a long, hardworking week, and buttoning up a cut-off denim top. Whatever your weekend plans, keep fridays cool and comfortable!

ALVIN VALLEY 5 days a week: THURSDAY #TresBrooklyn

When I plan on spending an adventurous day in Brooklyn, I always feel motivated to experience a fresh side of my ever-changing style. I long to wear over-sized menswear with fitted pieces and get excited to create a killer combo by pairing my combat boots with a flowy maxi skirt. And you're never truly "Brooklyn" unless you can add a bad ass wide-brim hat to your already eccentric ensemble. This "oh-so brooklyn" edge brings out a side of myself that I usually don't sport in the city... which makes it all the more rejuvenating in the end. Deriving from the Parisian term for "a particularly cool combination of informality, creativity and quality", as quoted by The New York Times, this look is Tres Brooklyn.

ALVIN VALLEY 5 days a week: WEDNESDAY #BlockParty

The Bailey trouser and Color-Block blouse c/o Alvin Valley // Mac Bag by Michael Kors

Nothing screams power look more than color blocking. Its the perfect weather to showcase your moody teals, blue and greens, and Alvin Valley has the ideal pieces for your middle-of-the week work day. When color blocking, it is a no-brainer to stay in the same color palette family, with different shades and values of the same hue. Add a pop of color such as this bright orange (Mac bag) to keep the look eye-catching and vibrant!

ALVIN VALLEY 5 days a week: TUESDAY #FallClassic #TakeMeOutToTheBallGame

The Hanley Skinny c/o Alvin Valley // Nine West bag

This ensemble featuring the Hanley Skinny by Alvin Valley is truly a Fall Classic, in anticipation for the beautiful crisp weather, and the World Series, of course. This is the ideal outfit to head straight from the office to catch your favorite game with your friends. With baseball-inspired skinny trousers, toss on your favorite mod cap to add just the right amount of tom-boy status. This athletic-chic look will gain any fashionista admittance into even the top sports bars for that tuesday night game.

ALVIN VALLEY 5 days a week: MONDAY #FuschiaFresh #Business #Suit

The Hanley Blazer  and The Hanley Skinny c/o Alvin Valley // heels c/o Nine West // satchel c/o Etienne Aigner

I am so excited to announce that I will be partnering with the womenswear brand, Alvin Valley, for the brand's relaunch. This week, I am doing a style series named "Alvin Valley 5 days a week" showcasing the creative and many different ways Alvin Valley pieces are able to be worn, Monday-Friday, no matter what type of woman you are! Today's post goes out to all of the sophisticated business women with a downtown lifestyle who want to start their weeks with a punch of color. If you are one of those women, choose Fuschia Fresh to stand out on the streets and in the board room for the week ahead.

Alvin Valley is known as the King of Pants, due to the fashion designers fit, quality and design. These pieces were nothing short of fitting like a glove! Being the 6ft tall girl that I am, my biggest challenge is finding a pair pants with these restrictions:
a) long enough
b) I can bend and move in easily throughout the city
c) pants that hug my body so nicely I feel better about the way I look
I will honestly say that these are the best pants that my body and 6ft tall frame have ever experienced. Comfort, stretch, and body conscious are three design characteristics that have made me fall head over heels for the King of Pants.

Toy Soldier, Styled by me, Maniac Magazine Nov/Dec 2012

"Allow your inner Toy-Soldier to come out and play this holiday season, marching to the beat of everything stripes and bows. Whether attending an ugly sweater party, a gift-exchange, a Christmas tree cutting, or a date under the mistletoe, let your ensemble do the talking at all of your themed festivities!" By Kelsey Panicco

Here is the whimsical Holiday editorial I styled for the November/December issue of Maniac Magazine in collab with the wonderful Stacey Cunningham. We wanted it to be a take on extremes bows and stripes, so I hope you feel we succeeded! The copy I wrote really says it all, do not be afraid to be bold and bright this holiday season and for New Years!
